Conditions & Restrictions


I) Client must be satisfied with the mixes being submitted for the mastering process. Volume levels (of all tracks mixed to stereo), best to client's knowledge, are not loud and have no distortion..

II) This service is provided for individuals to drop off or send by mail a copy of their work only.

III) De-Popping, De-Clicking and Noise Reduction (problems usually associated with sources such as corrupted CDs, DATs, Vinyl records and Tapes) or just plain bad engineering, not available at this price/rate.

IV) Acceptable mix sources are: Audio CDs, CD24, DAT tapes, Mini Disc & ROM data (containing files listed on paragraph V)

V) Acceptable Audio File Formats are: AIFF, .WAV,SDII & MP3, encoded at 44.1- 48 KHZ / 16 or 24
bit . Any other file format will not be acceptable at this price/rate.

VI) After completion of the mastering process, client takes home test master for reviewing.

VII) Unless further adjustments are requested by client within a 24 hour reviewing period, test master is deemed approved & final.

VIII) Any changes to compression or equalization by the client will void our Satisfaction Guaranteed pledge. Client is therefore deemed responsible for the changes to the new master source.

IX)
Client is advised (unless imperative) not to include or use recordings that have: low audio resolution, loud output levels, distortion, and excessive hiss or high noise to floor ratio.

For these particular mix sources a noticeable improvement on sound quality will be apparent on a case by case basis.

Mastering results may vary, depending upon the quality of your mix or sound production.

Our Satisfaction Guaranteed pledge does not apply to materials recorded with "Sub-Standard" equipment (i.e 4-8 trk analog recordings).

For these particular mix sources a noticeable improvement on sound quality will be apparent on a case by case basis.

XI)
Our Satisfaction Guaranteed pledge does not apply to sources such as: cassettes, mini-disc, mp3 and any other source that compresses the signal in order to save memory space.

XII)
Client is responsible for supplying a correctly formatted audio CD, or audio file source as stipulated on the paragraphs above and failure to do so within reasonable length of time (a maximum of 30 days), will cancel the job order and cause client to lose deposit payment.

XIII)
Digital Mastering is processed using ProTools Mix TDM System (ideal for industry standard 16 bit audio CDs and DAT mixes). Our PMCD is free of charge (US only).

XIV) PMCD Pre-gapping between tracks limited to a fixed second count. If not specified by client, default time is 2 seconds.
